Canvas & Enclosures
Boat Covers are meant to protect your boats finish and interior. Enclosures allow for protection while on the boat from sun and rain.
All boat canvas jobs are fabricated on your boat to assure the best possible fit. Repairs are completed in a timely manner, so your boat is not left uncovered for long periods of time. Sometimes we can do minor repairs while you wait or run a short errand.
Materials used: Many times a customer will call or walk into the shop, expressly asking for a particular material for their project. By asking for more details about the job, we are able to concur on the materials, or offer products we feel would be better suited.
Some of the materials most often used in our shop are Sunbrella, Outdura Trio, Harbortime and Aqualon. We also use and recommend Textilene and Phifertex screening. All zippers are YKK, and all hardware and snaps are stainless steel. Lifetime thread options, Polyester hook and loop velcro, and polyester webbing for straps assure longer life before replacement is needed due to the sun’s rays and deterioration.
We would be happy to discuss fabric specifics, threads, screening materials, foam, and vinyls for any project being considered.
