Rick has 20 years of experience detailing boats. This experience has led him to provide a level of service few can match. When he is finished, you will not see swirl marks, and the finish will not be burned thru by a buffing wheel.
The key to keeping your boat looking good: keep up with it, and cover it. Using a good sealer wax on the hull and topside prolongs the finish and protects it from the sun, acid rain, falling leaves, pine needles and pitch.
Ship Shape Marineworks provides Basic wash and wax services, interior and exterior cleaning, and more extensive buffing and wetsanding if the gel coat is scratched or faded. We can also remove the “tan lines” formed from covers, changing stripes or changing the lettering on the boat. Mildew removal from covers, seats, and carpets is also part of the detailing process.
- Thorough cleaning of the boat: interior, exterior and all compartments
- Wash boat before waxing or compounding
- High quality sealing wax
- No chemicals used on your carpets (these only attract dirt)
- Mildew removal
- Canvas cleaning and waterproofing available (and, because we do canvas repairs, restitches and other repairs can be taken care of as well)
The fastidious detail needed to thoroughly clean a motorcycle is provided when Rick does the job. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he is well know for his “attention to detail” when he works on a bike. No nook or cranny is untouched, and the most miniscule scratches get buffed out.
